About Gentry Ashmore Hoit
Based in South Florida between West Palm Beach and Miami, Gentry Ashmore Hoit is the Founder of GAH Real Estate. She advises commercial real estate companies, ownership teams, executives, and investors through growth, transition, capital strategy, and enterprise value creation.
Gentry’s career has placed her on multiple sides of the table: as a principal, owner/operator, executive, investor, capital markets leader, board member, and advisor. That perspective allows her to understand not only how commercial real estate companies are financed and structured, but how they operate, scale, and make decisions at critical moments.
BACKGROUNDGentry brings practical experience across commercial real estate strategy, capital, and execution.
Her experience spans equity and debt strategies across the risk spectrum, from core to opportunistic, with exposure to office, multifamily, industrial, retail, hospitality, build-to-rent/single-family rental, ground leases, self-storage, and other niche real estate sectors. Throughout her career, she has worked with institutional investors, lenders, public and private company sponsors, developers, brokers, consultants, and advisors across the U.S. and global markets.
Gentry’s advisory approach is informed by hands-on leadership roles where she has helped set organizational strategy, evaluate investments, manage teams, and build the internal processes needed to support growth.
